Fetch Robotics develops and manufactures autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for the warehousing and logistics markets. It takes takes advantage of its deep robotics expertise to provide collaborative AMRs for two commercial applications: material handling and data collection.
Co-founder and CEO Melonee Wise, for example, is well-respected within robotics circles. She was the second employee at Willow Garage and led a team of engineers developing next-generation robot hardware and software, including ROS, the PR2, and TurtleBot.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Fetch expanded its product portfolio by developing, with partners, two disinfection robots that are based on its AMR technology.
